Update

Luke had his two-month doctor appointment today. He's a healthy little guy, weighing in at 12 lbs 14 ounces and 23 inches tall. We're settling into a schedule of naps and eating, and I can even say we're sleeping through the night! Whohoo! It's been about the last five nights or so that Luke's slept between 6 and 7 hours. He's going to bed around 9:30, so I'm still getting up between 3 and 4am, but those extra couple of hours of sleep make a big difference! He's a such a good little boy.

The kids and I spent spring break in New Jersey with my mom visiting family. Luke was a really good traveler. We only stopped once each way! Luke got to meet his GiGi and Papa (my mom's folks) and two of my aunts and uncles and my cousin Alison. (Pictures to come.) Eliana took to calling GiGi and Papa just "G" and "Pop", which was really quite funny. Picture the girl yelling, "G! hey G!". It makes me chuckle.

Eliana's new favorite game has been finding words that rhyme. I'll ask her whether or not different pairs of words rhyme-she thinks it's great fun. Well, now she tries to talk in rhymes, which more often than not doesn't include real words: "I want to put cover-dovers on Luke." "Can I play with Playdoh-daydoh?" "What's for dinner-winner?" "Let's put on jammie-dammies." and so on...

A tutoring student's about to arrive, so that's all for now. I'm so bad about keeping updates coming, I wouldn't be surprised if I've lost my readers!
